450 POINTS

This will be your first project of the year. The purpose of this activity is to help the class get to know each other better, and to help appreciate the other members of the class. The activity will also help you review the writing process and apply them along with the basic rules of grammar.

Materials:
Crayons, paper, pencils, markers, box, scissors

1. Find a box and decorate the outside so none of the original box is showing. Make sure the way you decorate the box represents you. Thse box should tell something about you.

2. Find 5 "Tools of Life" that represent you. Each tool should fit inside the decorated box.

3. Write a 5 paragraph essay that introduces yourself and tells about each tool, and why it is a "Tool of Life" that represents you.

4. You will need to use the writing process starting with a prewtire, rough draft, editing, revising, and final draft.

5. You will use the final draft to present your "Tools of Life" to the class.

YOU WILL BE GRADED BY THE RUBRIC PROVIDED IN CLASS!
