Reading/ Writing Code of Conduct

 

1. Be respectful

    Don’t speak when others are speaking

    Keep hands and objects to yourself

    When speaking to another classmate, be positive

    Stay in your seat until you are dismissed

    Raise you hand if there is something that needs to be said

 

2. Come to class prepared

    Homework

    Pens, pencils, highlighters, and materials

    Use your imagination

 

3. Keep a positive attitude!

 

If you choose to break a rule

First time: Verbal warning

Second time: Verbal warning

Third time: Lunch detention

Fourth time: Phone Call home

Fifth time: After-School detention

 

Rewards given for choosing to follow the rules

          1. Daily praise

          2. Positive notes and phone calls sent home

          3. Free homework passes

          4. Various other perks throughout the school year

          5. The joy of learning each day throughout the school year
